3. Concrete Sampling and Tests
Fresh concrete mix is controlled and samples are taken either from the mixer or the batching plant depending on the work location in order to check the workability of the concrete mix and for the purpose of casting.
Concrete slump test
The concrete slump test is an on-the-spot test to determine the consistency as well as workability of fresh concrete.
Concrete cube casting
Fresh concrete samples are taken from the mix and the samples are poured into the moulds according to specified layers and corresponding sample tapping follows.
Concrete compressive test
It is performed to determine the compressive strength of hardened concrete after specified days curing using concrete compression machine.
