Aggregates samples are taken either from the quarry at the point of crushing or from the stockpile
Los Angeles abration test
This test is to measure aggregate toughness and abrasion resistance such as crushing, degradation and disintegration using Los Angeles Abrasion Machine.
Aggregate crushing value (ACV)
It is a relative measure of the resistance of an aggregate to crushing under a gradually applied compressive load.
Flakiness index test
It is used to determine the particle shape of the aggregate specimen.
Elongation index test
Used for determining the elongation index of aggregates.
